Short Description
The contactor box is a device installed under the train and has the following functions:
1- This device is responsible for connecting and disconnecting the train battery energy path to various devices and also protecting the battery when its voltage falls below a certain level.
2- This device is responsible for taking the necessary measures when one of the train’s main power sources has a problem, such as half-loading the train, coordinating with the train’s computer, etc.
3- This device is responsible for detecting this issue when any of the train’s main power sources has a problem and cannot provide the desired power, issuing a command to start the emergency inverter and coordinating with the train’s computer.
