Dump Truck Controller Module

The Controller is customized for electric-driven mining dump trucks. This module controls and coordinates the propulsion system including diesel engine, synchronous generator, and wheel motors. Thanks to the sophisticated control algorithms, the torques of induction traction wheel motors are controlled instantaneously according to the acceleration pedal, diesel power capability, and generator output voltage. In case of dynamic braking, the power is regenerated by the wheel motors with instantaneous braking torque control. The brake power is dissipated in the dummy loads.
